I'm new here
Hi All,
Just want to introduce myself. I just got my yarn for tivoli. It is Rowan Calmer, and my first time knitting with it. I am presently swatching and think I will need size 8 needles, which I just realized are being used for my sunrise circle jacket. So hopefully I will finish that this week and can get started. This is such a great spring project. I look forward to checking in with everyone.

Good luck finishing the Sunrise Circle jacket so you can start your Picovoli! I've been watching that KAL because I love that pattern. I think it's a little out of my league though!
I'm curious about the fibers in Rowan Calmer. On their web site they just say "cotton blend". Does it say any more specifics on the yarn label? I will be interested to know how you like it.
Believe me, if I can do the sunrise circle jacket, you can too!
I will let you know how I like the Rowan Calmer as I work with it but in the meantime I can tell you the label says 75% cotton,25% acrylic/microfiber.
It is really soft and has some stretch to it. Surprisingly my gauge was the same before and after washing the swatch.
The acrylic/microfiber must make it springy, so the cotton doesn't stretch as much. Happy knitting!
