No amount of blocking will stop it from curling entirely, but I found that the pin & spritz method reduced it a whole lot. To cut out rolling entirely, consider doing a crocheted edge around the neckline and/or a hem at the hip edge. The picot method works just great, too!
I've tried both methods, and will post pics soon.
BTW, t hat's a great photo (nice perspective) and I love those colors!
The blocking for my daughter's Tivoli consisted of using a steamer AND doing a crab stitch around the edges. It helped but it still tends to roll a little bit.
